海外ドラマがつないでくれた縁 (The fate which connects with overseas dramas)

今日は「海外ドラマがつないでくれた縁」についてお話ししようと思います。

ホームページを訪問してくださった方ならお分かりかと思いますが、私はInstagramをしています。1週間前に好きな海外ドラマについて投稿をしました。たくさんの人が「いいね！」をしてくださり、とてもうれしかったです。ありがとうございました。

そして、「いいね！」をしてくださった方々の中に海外ドラマの特集をしているある雑誌に記事を執筆されている方がいらっしゃいました。その方のInstagramのページを見ると、その雑誌の事が書かれていました。

話はそれますが私はこの間、翻訳者になって初めての仕事を受注しました。IT関係のお仕事でした。私は翻訳者になって初めてもらうお給料を何か今後の翻訳者人生の中で意味のあるものに使いたいと思っていました。というのは、その「意味のあるもの」を今後何かの折に見るたびに初心を忘れないでおきたいと思ったのです。

Instagramをしてなかったら・・翻訳者じゃなかったら・・・そもそも、海外ドラマが好きじゃなかったら・・その方や雑誌との出会いはなかったかもしれません。私は縁を感じ、その雑誌を買いました。その後、その方の記事を読ませていただくと驚くべきことに「ドクター・フー」について書かれていたのです。

何が驚きかというと、私が初めてちゃんと観た海外ドラマが、ある日本のテレビ局でやっていた「ドクター・フー」だったのです。私が小学生くらいの頃に放送されていたと思いますが、色使いがとても鮮やかだったので、印象に残っているのと登場する宇宙人が怖かったのを覚えています（笑）

海外ドラマがつないでくれた縁に感謝するとともにこれからも海外ドラマをたくさん観ようと思います！

Hello! I'd like to write about the fate which connects with overseas dramas.

I do a Instagram and I posted about my favorite overseas dramas 1 week ago. Many people liked my post, so thank you so much!

There was the person among people who liked my post. The person wrote her article about overseas drama in Japanese magazine. I knew it because I saw her Instagram.

By the way, I got a first job of translation the other day. It was related to IT. I thought I'd like to use the salary to meaningful thing. It means when I'll see that thing, it'll reminds me the basics. 

If I didn't do Instagram...If I didn't become a translator...and if I didn't like overseas dramas...I would not know her and the magazine. I felt the fate and I bought the magazine. When I read her article, I was surprised because she wrote about 'Doctor Who' which I watched when I was about elementary school student. It was a first overseas drama which I watched properly. The reason why I remember it because of vivid color in the drama and I felt scary when I watched characters lol

I was appreciated this fate and I'll try to watch more and more overseas dramas!
